The Middle East International Motor Show is a bi-annual\u00a0auto show<\/a>\u00a0held in the\u00a0Dubai<\/a>, in the\u00a0United Arab Emirates<\/a>. Due to the lofty interest of posh cars in Dubai, it attracts many major\u00a0manufactures, tuning\u00a0and other related companies together with major\u00a0super car<\/a>\u00a0manufacturers. The Middle East International Motor Show isn’t like standard European or North American show. There are not any exclusive launches or never-been-seen-before new metal. Here Wealthy affluent visitors come to buy, not to browse. More than 100,000 people visited the show admired and also purchased\u2013 the world\u2019s most expensive sports cars in the\u00a0Middle East International Motor Show<\/a> 2013.<\/p>\n

A host of new models from McLaren, Rolls-Royce and Bentley was launched in Show. Among the famous and ultra high end cars up for sale was the lesser known, but just as costly,\u00a0Lykan Hyper Sport<\/a>, the maiden car to be made by Dubai-based Company W Motors. The HyperSport was sold for Dh12.8m and comes complete with diamond-encrusted headlights, and only seven was produced which was sold in just five days. Other super costly rare speed machines on show include the Venom GT, which has 1245 horsepower and accelerates from 0-300 Kmph in 13.6 seconds. Only 10 of the cars was made and two unnamed buyers in the UAE already own Venoms, and also by Steven Tyler, the lead singer of American Rock Band Aerosmith. Another big draw for car fans is the\u00a0McLaren P1<\/a> that can accelerate from 0-100\u2009kmh in just 2.8 seconds. There were only 370 made, and of those only a few are left. The remainder is on a first come, first served basis. Few cars that are left could go today, or could go tomorrow. As per company statistics 17 people from the region have already placed orders to own a P1, with the first Dh5.1\u2009million car due to be delivered next week. It can work in city roads on electricity and can be switched on to petrol engine while racing. Bentley also launched a UAE-specific variant of its popular Mulsann model, named as Shaheen. It is worth Dh1.3 million. This car was made only run for one, built for the provision of a single customer but was case of the level of customization the company is ready to accommodate. UAE craving for the extraordinary cars knows no bounds .Although by international standards, the show is condensed. Spread over three main halls of the WTC, it is quite smaller in size to the gigantic Frankfurt motor show \u2013 but it\u2019s a condensed collection of some of the most elite, spendthrift and elusive cars ordained for the UAE.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
