The loyal company for Manufacturing Engineering \u201cRefco\u201d which is one of the companies specialized in the manufacture of aluminum parts for the automotive sector and other industrial sectors in the Gulf region, and this company is a subsidiary of \u201cAl Ghurair Group\u201d launched the first aluminum factory in the Middle East for the supply of automotive components and parts with production capacity of up to 1.3 million pieces per year.<\/p>\n
Eng Saeed Al Tayer, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Dubai electricity and water company opened the company\u2019s factory in Jebel Ali at the free zone with the presence of Majid Al Ghurair, CEO of Al Ghurair Group which this factory represents a new stage in the aluminum manufacturing sector in terms of the added value. The company deals with the leading manufacturers of aluminum in the country that led by Dubai Aluminum \u201cDUBAL\u201d institution, Emirates Aluminum company \u201cEMAL\u201d and the \u201cGulf Extrusions\u201d company as these companies are the major suppliers for the company.<\/p>\n
The announcement of the official opening of the factory was during the launch of the seventeenth session of the international Arabic aluminum conference \u201cARABAL\u201d where it is the most prominent tradeshow in the aluminum industry in the Middle East where a number of delegations participated in the conference went to the new factory to see the modern and advanced facilities available in it.<\/p>\n
Majid Al Ghurair, CEO of \u201cAl Ghurair Group\u201d said: \u201cthe opening of the new factory embodies the commitment of \u2018Al Ghurair Group\u2019 to provide a global supplier of aluminum products in the UAE in line with its drive to support the state’s strategy aimed to upgrade the industrial sector in the long term. We hope that the opening of this new factory which provided the latest technology and equipment and which is consistent with the highest standards in the field of sustainability and preservation of the environment contributes in driving economic growth at the local level through the promotion of the country’s exports of aluminum products especially geared to the automotive sector\u201d.<\/p>\n
Al Ghurair mentioned that the opening of the new factory is the culmination of the achievements of the state in the production of aluminum as one of the biggest countries in the world in the manufacturing and production of this vital substance involved in many heavy and light industries alike and most notably the automotive industry where the entry of aluminum in the automotives industry contributed in relieving the weight of the car by about 500 kg.<\/p>\n
