The <em>Open Auction event will be conducted at Hilton Al Habtoor City in Dubai where 80 special number plates will be up for grabs<\/em>. The <strong>registration for the auction has already begun<\/strong> and motorists will need to follow RTA\u2019s standardized procedure to be able to register for the auction.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">RTA has announced that <strong><em>6 Sheikh Zayed-Themed number plates will be up for auction to celebrate some of the most significant historical milestones of the life of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Here are the details of the Sheikh Zayed-Themed number plates that will be available for auctions along with their historical perspective:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Z1918 plate <strong>denotes the birth year of Sheikh Zayed<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Z1946 plate <em>represents the year when Sheikh Zayed was appointed as the Ruler\u2019s Representative in the Eastern Region<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Z1968 and Z68 plates will also be available for auction. These two number plates <strong>mark the date of the first meeting between the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum and late Sheikh Zayed<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Z1971 plate <strong>represents the year of establishment of the federation<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Z2018 plate <strong>will be up for auction to celebrate the Year of Zayed<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <em>money generated from the auction of Sheikh Zayed-Themed number plates will be donated to charity<\/em>. The details of other number plates have also been revealed, which will be available for bidding in the upcoming number plate auction. The process of registration can be completed through <strong>RTA website<\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rta.ae\">www.rta.ae<\/a>) or <em>interested bidders can also visit RTA\u2019s Customer Service Centres at Umm Al Ramool, Al Barsha, Deira and Al Tawar Municipal Centre<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Here are the things to know if you are looking to register for the upcoming RTA auction:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>The interested bidders must either have a <strong>Dubai registered vehicle<\/strong> or a <strong>valid Dubai based driving license<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Bidders need to pay a <strong>subscription fee of AED 120<\/strong> and a <strong>security deposit of AED 25,000<\/strong>. The <strong>security deposit can be redeemed if a bidder doesn\u2019t have any successful bid<\/strong>.
