The Phantom was <strong>originally launched in 1925<\/strong> and since then, it has enjoyed the status of being the emperor of luxury cars. The new Phantom <strong>gives the feel of a penthouse running on wheels<\/strong> and boasts sheer elegance in its design.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the unveiling of Phantom, Rolls-Royce CEO Torsten Muller-Otvos called it <strong>an icon, an artwork and a dominant symbol of wealth and human achievement<\/strong>. Rolls-Royce has spent a lot of time and resources into making sure that the vehicle maintains its quietness even at high speeds. There is<strong> 130 kilograms worth of sound deadening material and 6mm thick double layers of glazing <\/strong>used across the vehicle that has made it 10% quieter than Phantom VII at 60mph. <em>There is an analogue clock in the dashboard, which according to Rolls-Royce will be the loudest sound you can hear in the cabin of Phantom VIII<\/em>.
