Before this, the fuel prices were decreased for two consecutive months in June and July respectively. The <em>instability in fuel prices make it difficult for motorists to manage their monthly fuel budget<\/em>, especially when prices are increased for consecutive months. During 2017, fuel prices were highest in March and now in September, the fuel prices will again witness a noticeable increase. <strong><em>September will actually be the second most expensive month for commuting this year<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Listed below are the new fuel prices by fuel-type in the UAE, which will be effective from September 1, 2017:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>The <strong>new price for Special 95\u00a0will be AED 1.90\/Litre<\/strong>. In August, Special 95 was sold at\u00a0AED 1.78\/Litre.<\/li>\n<li>The\u00a0Super 98 will also witness an increase in its price. The August price of Super 98 was AED 1.89\/Litre, which will be increased to <strong>AED 2.01\/Litre in September<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The\u00a0price of E Plus-91 will be increased from\u00a0AED 1.71\/Litre in August to <strong>AED 1.83\/Litre in September<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The diesel price has also been raised. <strong>The new price for diesel will be AED 2.00\/Litre<\/strong>, its price in August was 1.88\/Litre.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>A strategy for liberalization of fuel prices was introduced at the start of 2017 to streamline the change in fuel prices every month<\/em>. According to this new strategy<strong>, the prices for all types of fuel will be subject to an equal increase on monthly basis<\/strong>.
