The French Renault car company revealed a prototype for a new car which the company named “Next Two” to be used in the experiment and the development of the new self-driving system invented by the Renault Company. The company provided this new car in the context of competition with other companies in this field such as the Japanese Nissan company which promised to provide a car that works completely with the self-driving system by 2020.

Renault Company believes that this new technology is a very important step in the world of future cars as it will help in improving the element of safety and the passengers’ safety in addition to the pedestrians especially after many reports proved that the human error is the primary cause which leads to fetal accidents on the roads every day. In the presence of such a system, the driver can relax a little bit behind the wheel of his/her car even for a limited period of time while driving on the road to enjoy some of the features and luxuries available in his/her car such as video conferencing or to use the internet to buy some goods or to get some necessary information to organize trip that he/she intends to do in addition to anything he/she wants to do in this time.

The new self-driving system is able to turn on or off the car’s engine very easily. Also, this new system has the ability to interact and take decisions in certain situations on the road, and this system is very helpful in parking the car in the parking places quickly. The system relies on a set of cameras and sensors installed around the car in specific places and these cameras and sensors transmit images and data to the mainframe computer that analyzes this data and then make the right decision in the end in order to move the steering wheel in a specific direction or pressing on the brakes in addition to many other actions required to operate the car on the roads. The new system is connected to the internet all the time and is compatible with operating systems such as windows 8, android and IOS. Renault Company aspires to begin the production of this technology on a large scale by 2020. You can see a real experience of this future technology by watching the following video:
